In 1905, Esther Mills is a skilled African-American seamstress. She has her own successful business, making lingerie for both society ladies, Mrs. Van Buren in particular, and "ladies of the night." Esther has a failed romantic relationship with George Armstrong, who is working on the Panama Canal. She has an unlikely friendship with Mr. Marks, an Orthodox Jew. In Hollywood in 1949, down-on-his-luck screenwriter Joe Gillis encounters Norma Desmond, the one-time silent film star who fell out of popularity when “talkies” took over. The delusional ex-celebrity speaks of a screenplay she’s written to be her next project, and desperate for an opportunity, Joe offers to edit it in exchange for room and board. When Norma falls in love with Joe, he becomes caught between her and the girl he loves, Betty, and an awkward situation becomes complex and dangerous. The talented cast includes local mezzo-soprano Marcia Ragonetti in the role of Norma Desmond, Drew Hirschboeck (Joe Gillis), Wes Munsil (Max Von Mayerling), Miranda Byers (Betty Schaefer), Mark Rossman (Cecil B DeMille), Brad Wagner (Artie Green), Chad Patten (Sheldrake) and David Ballew (Manfred/Jonesy).  Rounding out the cast are ensemble members Court Clark, Caitlin Conklin, Rachel Finley, Jason Green, Alexander Holdt, Katherine Jackson, Cooper Kaminsky, Kayla Mally, Jordan Manchego, Mike Martinkus, Onna  Poeter, Joey Wishnia, Sheri Wright and Stasia Vinnedge. Evgueni Mlodik is a graduate from Regis University with a BFA in writing/directing. He also holds a Master's Degree from Full Sail University. Evgueni is a writer and director, known for award winning short films The Silver Moonlight (2015) and Christmas Eve '45 (2012). He had previously worked at Vintage Theatre as the assistant director for their acclaimed production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Although originally born in Moscow, Russia, a large portion of his early childhood was spent in Odessa, Ukraine. Evgueni has been residing in Denver for about 20 years, working within the local film and theatre community....
