Vintage Theatre Youth Program

Vintage Youth Spotlight

The Vintage Youth Spotlight program has been developed as a means for children to experience the excitement of theatre and performance while instilling a love of the arts and an appreciation of the theatrical collaborative process.  Theatre builds confidence, encourages teamwork, and rewards responsibility.  Our program is staffed with Denver’s most experienced professional directors, instructors, choreographers, puppeteers, and technicians.  Check out the many ways your child can get involved and engaged with the arts through our classes, workshops, and summer camps!

Disney Jr. Summer Performance Academy: For the first time ever, Vintage will be offering TWO summer performance opportunities to our students!  We could not be more excited to announce that we will be producing both Disney Jr. Beauty and the Beast AND Disney Jr. Peter Pan in our summer sessions.  So if you want to tell a tale as old as time or fly to Neverland, we’ve got a production or you!

Our summer academy provides the opportunity for performers to engage in a full scale production at Vintage.  Tuition includes the complete performance experience with costumes, lights, sets, and professional direction by local director, Liz Nye.  Roles are available for ages 8-17, and no audition is necessary.  No matter your experience level, there is a part for you!

Rehearsals run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with performances Friday and Saturday of the final week of class.  If you would like to extend your student’s experience at Vintage, you may add morning hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an additional fee.  Students who come for the morning will play acting games, make awesome craft projects, explore advanced theatre techniques in workshops, enjoy fun theme days, and meet visiting theatre artists from the community.  Morning kids must bring lunch with them.

These productions are popular, and camps will fill up quickly, so register today!
